The Shenzhen Original Art Association (SOAA) worked with Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) to organize an outdoor exhibition of 30 original seals in the Lynn Library corridor, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China. The display attracted significant attention from students, staff and faculty as soon as it went on display this morning.

SUSTech University Council Vice Chairperson Li Fengliang was joined by Acting Vice President Zhang Dongxiao and other high-ranking leaders across SUSTech to look at the exhibition. The launch was hosted by Communications and Public Relations Office Director Zhang Ling. SOAA Chairman and original artist Shi Peixiu spoke at the launch ceremony, introducing the works in the exhibition. He pointed out that these works are all official seals, incorporating official script, and this reflects both the beauty and respect for the art-form.
