College of Engineering establishes Youth Promotion Association

On January 15, the College of Engineering at Southern University of Science and Technology established its Youth Promotion Association. Communications and Public Relations Director Zhang Ling, College of Engineering Vice Dean Wang Hong and Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) Associate Professor Luo Dan all attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by the College of Engineering Party Committee Member Bao Chuanwen.

The College of Engineering Youth Promotion Association seeks to broaden the academic horizons of young engineering scholars and promote further research in cross-disciplinary fields. It will aim to consolidate and enhance the College’s scientific research to help its educators improve their applications for funding and project management skills.

EEE Associate Professor Luo Dan discussed the purpose and significance of the College of Engineering Youth Promotion Association.

College of Engineering Vice Dean Wang Hong gave a lecture on writing good applications for the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).

She took many questions from the young scholars following the lecture.
