Professor Rainer Fin, from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg visited SUSTC. Li Ming, Secretary of the CPC Committee of SUSTC had a meeting with the guests. Director of International Cooperation Department and professors from the departments of Materials Science and Engineering and biology attended the above meeting.
Professor Rainer Fin was invited to the The Shenzhen International Friendship-City University League Meeting as the representative. Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg paid a return visit after the University of Edinburgh’s visit. Li Ming, Secretary of the CPC Committee of SUSTC, extended his warm welcome to the guest. He hoped that both sides could cooperate on the existing basis and become the important strategic partners for each other. Li also pointed the way to further mutual cooperation between the sides in the field of scientific research, laboratory construction, student exchange program, enterprise-university-institute binding mechanism and others.
Professor Rainer Fin also introduced the international cooperation of the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg. He pointed out that riedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg values the development of the international cooperation in the field of student exchange program, joint training programs and other projects. He hoped that his visit could promote the joint training programs of the bachelor and master dual degree program and doctoral degree program. Nuremberg is the birth place of Siemens. Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg pays close attention to the research cooperation with the society and enterprise and hopes to make in-depth exchange of views with Shenzhen and SUSTC.
Professor Rainer Fin also gave a speech on the topic of Microscopic insight into the electronic structure of organic electronic devices under operation and exchanged views with the professors from the departments of Biology and Materials Science and Engineering.
