The start of a new semester signals many things, one of which is “President’s visit,” where the university president checks attendance rate and the teaching effect, and brings good luck wish to the students.

On February 22, the first day of the spring semester of SUSTech, which was also the 15th day of the first lunar month this year, traditionally known in China as the Lantern Festival, President Chen Shiyi, Vice President Wu Chuanyue, Cheif Operating Officer Lu Chun and other leaders from the realted offices toured aound the campus and checked the class attendance rate and the teaching effect.
