2016 Symposium of Biodynamical Systems opens at SUSTech
| 03/09/2016
From March 5 to 6,the 1st Symposium of Biodynamical Systems was held at SUSTech. 18  famous experts from the Americas, Japan and Korea gathered to discuss the topics involving complexities in dynamical life, such as nonlinear analysis on big data and stochastic & deterministic models. This Symposium was chaired by Prof. WANG Guanyu of the Department of Biology at SUSTech.

Prof. XIAO Guozhi, the chair of the Department of Biology extended a warm welcome to the participants, and emphatically introduced the educational philosophy of the university and the department.

During the symposium, the experts, including Prof. OUYANG Qi from Peking University and Prof. Michael Deem from Rice University, reported on the latest research results and shared views on the inter-disciplines development in future , focusing on the theme of complexities in dynamical life.

This symposium has became a good communication platform between the young scholars and experts, improving the international influence of SUSTech in the field of Biodynamical Systems.
