CAS Academician Jiang Boju Gives a Lecture at SUSTC

In the afternoon of December 7, 2015, Jiang Boju (famous mathematician, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences) came to the 47th session of SUSTC Lecture, where professor Jiang gave his wonderful lecture with a theme of “Discussing Twist, Writhe, Gene, Cirrus and Solar Eruption from A Geometric Formula”. The lecture was presided over by vice-president of SUSTC Tang Tao.

Jiang Boju, mathematician and topologist; academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences (elected in 1980), academician of The Third World Academy of Sciences (elected in 1985); professor and first president of School of Mathematical Sciences, Peking University; the winner of State Natural Science Award, Chern Medal Award, Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress, Hua Luogeng Math Prize, National May 1st Labour Medal, National Teaching Master Award, etc.
