On the afternoon of June 3, 2016, the “Top Ten Graduates” Selection Conference was held in the Academic Hall of the Faculty Research Building 1. Zhang Yue and other 9 students won the honor.

Han Wei, Deputy Director of Preparation Office and Director of Human Resource Office, attended the conference. Judges include members of Student Financial Aid Committee, representatives of professors and representatives of students.

“Top Ten Graduates” are models set to encourage students. The ten students will be awarded the certificates of honor and invited to dine with the president. The selection was launched at the beginning of April. Four students entered school level selection via application and recommendation of academies.

Pubic Defense Session

There are 3 parts in the conference, including self-introduction of candidates, public defense session, voting and prize presentation.

Public defense session was the most exciting part where 14 candidates from Zhiren Academy and Shuren Academy answered questions raised by the judge panel in public. All the candidates showed their unique charisma and won warm applause.

Finally, according to voting results from audience and judges, “Top Ten Graduates”emerged. They are Zhang Yue, Min Siyi, Liu Zijian, Zhu Xiaodan, Shi Run, Chen Su, Wang Zi, Wang Haoyi, Xia Pengkun and Yang Lin.
