On Friday October 25, Southern University of Science and Technology welcomed a delegation from Fuzhou University, led by Fuzhou University President Fu Xianzhi. He was met by SUSTech President Chen Shiyi and Acting Vice President Zhang Dongxiao.

On arrival, the Fuzhou University delegation was taken to the 3D campus construction sand table, before heading for an in-depth discussion.

President Chen Shiyi welcomed his compatriots from Fuzhou University, and talked about the development of SUSTech from a wide range of areas.

Fuzhou University President Fu Xianzhi congratulated SUSTech on their rapid development and their many achievements in their short history. He went on to provide a briefing about Fuzhou University.

Both sides exchanged views on a wide range of important issues that affect their respective institutions, including discipline development, establishing research institutions and building high-quality talent pipelines.
