On December 17, the Office of Admissions at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) held its launch for the 2020 undergraduate recruitment campaign. SUSTech Acting Vice President Zhang Dongxiao, Communications & Public Relations Director Zhang Ling and Teaching Affairs Director Huang Kefu all attended the launch with the leaders of each of the admissions groups.

SUSTech Acting Vice President Zhang Dongxiao spoke highly of last year’s work, highlighting the increasing quality of the undergraduate students that choose to come and study at SUSTech. SUSTech will seize on the historical and unprecedented opportunities arising from the industrial transformation of the Greater Bay Area and the pioneering demonstration zone of Shenzhen to attract more outstanding students to SUSTech.

Teaching Affairs Director Huang Kefu analyzed three vital aspects of the admissions plan for 2020. The Office of Admissions went on to introduce a variety of different promotional ideas.

A highlight of the launch was the 2020 SUSTech English-language video “Be A SUSTecher,” produced by the Communications and Public Relations Office. The film highlights the beautiful campus, vibrant culture, international faculty, interdisciplinary research, English language of instruction, and residential colleges. It describes the future of SUSTech in a unique manner that shines a new light on the campus.

SUSTech’s 2020 undergraduate admissions registration system will officially open to candidates on December 20.
