On December 18, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) welcomed a delegation from Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University (NTU), led by Vice President (Research) Lam Khin Yong. SUSTech President Chen Shiyi, Vice President Lu Chun, and Acting Vice President Zhao Yusheng were among the senior leaders to meet with the NTU delegation.

SUSTech President Chen Shiyi welcomed the NTU delegation and provided a briefing about SUSTech. He said that both universities have always enjoyed an excellent relationship and high-quality research cooperations. NTU is an outstanding university that provides an exceptional reference point for SUSTech, and SUSTech anticipates further first-rate exchanges with NTU.

SUSTech Vice President Lu Chun and SUSTech Global Associate Director Li Xu went into more detail about certain aspects of SUSTech.

NTU Vice President Lam Khin Yong talked about his university, including the research collaborations with well-known universities in mainland China. He anticipated further cooperation and exchanges with SUSTech in the future.

As part of the meeting, SUSTech and NTU signed a memorandum of cooperation that aims to promote collaboration between the two universities in joint doctoral training and joint scientific research institutions.

As part of the trip to SUSTech, the NTU delegation was taken to the 3D campus construction sand table and around campus on a campus tour.
