Chris Edwards | 06/29/2019

Throughout the summer vacation, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) organized seven teams to carry out summer practice sessions in various cities around the country, including Shanghai, Guizhou and Yan’an. These activities sought to cultivate practical and leadership skills for the Youth League Committee.

Students visited diverse places such as the Red Boat Museum, the Qian Xuesen Library, the old sites of several universities and learned about the Long March. Other students took part in classroom lectures, student forums, and simulations to get a better understanding of themselves.

The variety of field trips gave students an insight into the values of the new era and how they compare to previous periods.
