On November 28， SUSTech’s delegation led by Vice President Chun LU visited Henan Museum and Henan University.

In the Henan Museum, Curator Lin XIAO introduced the planning and operation of the museum to them, gave full affirmation to the planning and construction of SUSTech cultural institutions, and expressed his hope that the works of Henan Museum can be displayed in SUSTech in the future.

Henan Museum is a national key museum, one of the earliest museums in China, and also one of the first batch of national museums jointly built by the central and local governments. The museum combines the concept of “culture +” with the construction of the museum, provide a new intelligent experience with “science and technology + Exhibition,” endows history with new vitality through “Cultural Creation + cultural relics,” and shows the unique charm of Chinese culture in an all-round way. The delegation visited the main exhibition hall of the museum.

In the afternoon, the delegation visited Henan University. Vice President of Henan University introduced the style of the modern architectural complex on the campus.

SUSTech delegation acquired a lot from this trip, based on which SUSTech will sum up experiences and continue to improve the construction plan of our university’s cultural and museum institutions, strengthen the deep integration of science and technology, archaeology, art, and humanities, enrich the functions of venues, and expand the influence of science, technology, and culture.
