On January 23, 2021, Medi-X Pingshan held its first board meeting. Huaping CHEN, Deputy Director of Pingshan District, Ming HUANG, Director of Science and Innovation Bureau of Pingshan District, Yuan TIAN, founder of Yabuli China Entrepreneur Forum, Yusheng ZHAO, Acting Vice President of SUSTech, Xumu ZHANG, Head of Medi-X Pingshan, and other members attended the meeting.

In his speech, Yusheng ZHAO said that the University would give strong support to the Institute so that it can make a greater contribution to research, innovation and entrepreneurship. Xumu ZHANG presented the current state of affairs of the Institute and outlined its development plan for the next five years.
