As the new semester is upon us, the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) welcomes back all its faculty members and students. Although many people opted to stay within the confines of Shenzhen for the Spring Festival holiday, the atmosphere on campus has suddenly become more vibrant and dynamic once again.

As we continue to bask in the stunning weather that Shenzhen has experienced over the past few weeks, it has encouraged many members within the University to be proactive and take full advantage of the first-class facilities on offer to them. There is an embarrassment of riches to choose from, which includes an array of sporting facilities such as basketball courts, football pitches, tennis and badminton courts, just to name a few.

There is also the running track that is open to all members, located at the Runyang Gymnasium. But if this isn’t for you, there is also the walking trail where you can indulge yourself in the scenic views that surround the University and watch the sunset over the campus in the evening time.

As the sun shines down on us for the following semester, we hope that everyone on campus can submerge themselves in the variety of activities and group events that take place daily on the campus and enjoy their downtime with the tranquil atmosphere that surrounds SUSTech.
