On May 19, Wenpeng WANG, Party Secretary of Xinyang Normal University (XYNU), and his delegation visited the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). Yurong GUO, University Council Chairperson, Fengliang LI, University Council Vice Chairperson, and Siqi CHEN, Director of the Office of Party Affairs and Administration, welcomed the guests.

The two parties held discussions and exchanges on the model of the academic system at SUSTech. Fengliang LI spoke about SUSTech’s academic disciplines and structure, cooperation between colleges and other departments within the University, etc.

Wenpeng WANG said that SUSTech has built up invaluable experience through its practices in the academic system that other organizations and institutions can learn from. He hopes that both sides can further strengthen their cooperation in the future.

After the discussion, Wenpeng WANG and his delegation visited the SUSTech exhibition of development and achievements and the Student Affairs Center. They also checked out some of the residential colleges on campus, such as Shude, Zhixin, and Shuren College. The heads of other relevant departments throughout the University also participated in the discussions.
