This marks the first time students from SUSTech have received this award, which is regarded as the highest academic honor for doctoral students in the field of integrated circuit design.
Established in 1983, the award recognizes outstanding academic and research achievements and will be presented at the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) in February 2025 in San Francisco.
The award’s committee comprises well-known experts from industry and academia, evaluating candidates on criteria such as technological innovation, industrial application value, and academic influence.
Since its inception, fewer than ten students from Chinese mainland have been recognized with this honor.
