| 09/09/2017

To further develop teaching practice and enhance student learning, SUSTech Human Resources Education and Teaching Development Center and SUSTech Student Union co-organized the first “Improve My Teaching” Project. The one-month project includes a list of project task, training programs and activities.

From 7th Sep to 8th Sep, the first event took place just outside the student dining hall and Lichee Hill’s canteens, where stalls were set up. Students were invited to write a few words on postcards to express their gratitude and best wishes to their teachers. In total, 372 postcards were written and handed over to their recipients.

This month, SUSTech will carry out seminars, workshops and other activities for all teachers in order to improve teaching standards, scientific research methods and ethics. “How to determine your teaching and learning strategy “, or “How to assess the student’s learning” are examples of the kind of seminars that will be held, while books such as “How to become a great university teacher” and others will be provided to ensure teaching quality at SUSTech is of the highest standards.
