Recently, the Academic Degrees Committee of Guangdong Province released a list of newly-approved undergraduate degrees in universities across Guangdong. Five majors at SUSTech successfully passed the committee’s evaluation and are now academic disciplines with bachelor’s degree recognition.

The committee’s approval of these new undergraduate majors will undoubtedly diversify the SUSTech’s academic environment, provide more choices for students, and promote the overall development of the university.

The majors are Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Information Engineering, Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, and Environmental Science and Engineering.
