On May 30, SUSTech Kindergarten held its opening ceremony and invited SUSTech leaders such as University Council Chairperson Guo Yurong, Vice President Lu Chun, and Chief Financial Officer Ye Qin.

Ye Qin delivered the opening speech, saying that SUSTech Kindergarten was another huge step for SUSTech since its collaboration with Nanshan District Committee. The two parties have established SUSTech Education Group, which currently includes SUSTech No.1 Experimental Primary School, SUSTech No. 2 Experimental Primary School, Tang Lang Primary School, University Town Nine-Year System School, and most recently, SUSTech Kindergarten. Through these efforts, SUSTech has demonstrated its social responsibility and determination for further education reform at all levels of education.

 After the ceremony, the kindergarten held a science and technology-themed party, in which university leaders, guests, kindergarten teachers and children participated in a variety of interesting and engaging activities together.

SUSTech Kindergarten is a public kindergarten situated in Keda Yayuan Housing Estate, right next to the university campus. With a total area of 4456 square meters, the kindergarten currently has 12 classrooms, a science and technology hall, a room of picture books, a music hall, an outdoor playground, and a sunshine corridor. SUSTech Kindergarten aims to teach children with love and wisdom, explore new ways of preschool education and establish itself as a first-class kindergarten in the country.
