Macau has obtained some encouraging improvements in international student admissions in recent years and formed effective theoretical direction; now, the university is planning to expand means of enrollment and origins of students, improve the quality of education and management level of international students; they welcome that SUSTC becomes the cooperative partner of international recruitment for University of Macau. Lu Chun, dean of general affairs, expressed his grateful for the warm reception of Professor Feng Daxuan and also expressed his wish to further improve communications between two universities and establish partnership with mutual assistance and trust.

In the afternoon, the delegation came to the College of Cao Guangbiao and had lunch with President Liu Quansheng and tutor representatives of college in the dining room of college, experienced the living environment of college and made a heated communication and discussion about the construction and management of college of the two universities. President Liu Quansheng is the world-renowned physicist and served as scientific research vice President of University of Maryland, President of National Central University. He made the college’s education featured with combination of Chinese traditional culture and spirit of innovation since he served as the president of the College of Cao Guangbiao, and elaborately created the educational environment and educational activities of College. The delegation visited students’ dormitory with the guidance and interpretation of President Liu Quansheng and also visited mansion of the President, which is full of humanistic spirit, located on the top floor of students’ dormitory.

In the afternoon, the delegation also had meeting with principals and representatives from Student Affairs, Campus Management Department of University of Macau. They exchanged and discussed about some topics such as student organizations and services, student counseling and development, further education and career-orientation and pioneering-work, campus planning and construction of hardware and software environment, and also established relationship for further cooperation and exchange in the future between two universities.
