Last week was the launch date for China Minsheng Bank’s new program to help students at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) develop their career skills. It represents the second phase of SUSTech’s “Student Career Development Training Program.”

Deputy General Manager of Human Resources Kuang Baiyan explained the purpose of the program and briefed the attending students about Minsheng Bank. Other figures from Minsheng Bank spoke about the advantages of the company, such as its internal training channels, talent pipeline and the financial common sense it instils in its staff as well as its customers.

China Minsheng Bank will bring senior interviewers, industry experts, and management personnel to SUSTech to form a mentor group for students. The combination of SUSTech’s guidance and China Minsheng Bank’s practical knowledge, students will be provided with four vocational courses and a deeper understanding of industry practices. Such market intelligence will improve their ability to find jobs that better suit them and clarify their career plans.

China Minsheng Bank also committed to a specific number of internship positions to SUSTech students, so that students have the opportunity to enhance and improve upon their practical skills.
