With winter coming in fast across Shenzhen, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) welcomed Director Wang Yanqing of the Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau and her delegation to campus. SUSTech Council Chairperson Guo Yurong and SUSTech President Chen Shiyi met the research group.

Guo Yurong welcomed Wang Yanqing and her entourage to SUSTech. She thanked the Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau for their concern and support for SUSTech.

Chen Shiyi briefed the Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau on SUSTech’s research on environmental resources and the transformation of science and technology. He said that SUSTech is willing to provide scientific and technological support for Shenzhen’s sustainable development.

Wang Yanqing expressed her appreciation for the rapid development and scientific research work of SUSTech. She aimed to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with SUSTech through research.

During the meeting, both sides discussed meteorological research across South China.
