On the afternoon of June 3rd in 2015, the CYL committee organized a series of social practice activities called “the footprints of youth”. Students were toured to the “DreamWorks” of the young from Shenzhen and Hong Kong in Qianhai where they experienced the working environments of the “dream chasers”.  Shenzhen is the leading city representing the national evolution; Qianhai is on the leading edge of the civic development of Shenzhen. Students stepped onto the “dream square”, viewed all the buildings built with modernity, and sensed the new era with the advent of technology.

Then, students visited the working site of the base of creative industry guiding by staff. The white paint and the simple lines constitute the office of the entrepreneurs. There are theater equipment and coffee bars supplied in the office. In the small coffee room, young entrepreneurs from Shenzhen, Hong Kong and western countries are drinking coffee and snatching the leisure from a busy day. This is probably where and when world-level-creativeness are achieved. Students were shocked by the simple but modern working environment:”Only one table and several computers are needed for a start-up company!”The office was saturated with casualness where students actively asked the entrepreneurs about their ideas for start-ups. They also have learned a fair amount by having close contact with 3D technology and high-tech products such as robot plane.

After the students went to Qianhai exhibition hall to view development plans of Qianhai. “Connecting to Hong Kong, servicing mainland and facing the world to draw the best and most beautiful picture. “A few years ago when the General Secretary Xi Jinping visited Qianhai, leaving such exhortations, now, urban development blueprint is implemented step by step. The students watched the impressive video, and follow the narrator to have a comprehensive study of the development strategy of Qianhai, they all have said:” a worthwhile trip! “The students are studying in Shenzhen, they have all the opportunities to start their own business here with their eyes full of expectation.

In December 2013, Qianhai administration, the Shenzhen Youth Federation and the Hong Kong Youth Association established the Qianhai Shenzhen Hong Kong youth dreamworks, plan to create a platform for the service of the Shenzhen and the World Youth Innovation and entrepreneurship. DreamWorks it built to develop “four industry” — modern logistics, information services, technology services, cultural and creative industries as the focus, encouraging and guiding innovative entrepreneurial youth to make their dreams come true, and to explore and create a new mode of Incubator Industry development business.
