Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) was solemn in its celebration of the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. SUSTech University Council Chairperson Guo Yurong and President Chen Shiyi were joined by senior leaders and party members from across every part of SUSTech. The event was presided over by SUSTech University Council Vice Chairperson Li Fengliang.
The theme of the anniversary focused on impression, guidance, change, characteristics, and hope. Senior leaders including Guo Yurong and Li Fengliang spoke about the importance of growing SUSTech into a world-class university with Chinese characteristics. They encouraged all attendees to set good examples for their friends and society.
