SUSTech studies important speech
Chris Edwards | 01/09/2019

Early January saw leaders across Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) come together to study important speeches of General Secretary Xi Jinping. Nearly 40 middle managers across SUSTech took classes about speeches and training courses. Director of the Guangdong Provincial Research Center of the Party School Professor Cai Bing led the class.

SUSTech University Council Vice Chairperson Li Fengliang opened the class with a speech that encouraged the managers to develop SUSTech further. He also anticipated that the managers would continue to self-improve.

Cai Bing spoke at length about Xi Jinping’s speech and its relevance for Guangdong Province and the Greater Bay Area. Director of the Office of Human Resources for SUSTech Chen Zhifeng pointed out that this would be the first training session for 2019, and further sessions would be aimed at other staff across campus.
