On December 1, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) held its Technology, Entertainment, and Design (TED) conference, in its 2019 TEDxSUSTech Conference. The SUSTech Student Union was the primary sponsor of TEDxSUSTech, which invited 6 speakers to provide their view on the role of “Rhythm” in their lives.

SUSTech Department of Chemistry Head Zheng Zhiping was the first to speak.

Renowned fashion designer and artist Zhang Xiaoxi was the second presenter, with the founder of the charity “Veterans Go Home” Sun Chunlong and an e-sports gamer following the first two speakers.

Group-buying website Gaopeng Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Li Di and noted travel blogger Bei Shi closed TEDxSUSTech.

The six speakers provided a unique aspect to their perspective on “rhythm” while also discussing the topic with the attending students and faculty members.

It is the second TEDxSUSTech that the SUSTech Student Union has organized. TEDx brings the spirit of TED’s mission of ideas worth spreading to local communities around the globe. TEDx events are organized by curious individuals who seek to discover ideas and spark conversations in their community.
