“SUSTech Research Series” seminars held on campus

Recently, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) held a series of seminars in the Conference Room of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences to celebrate the one-year establishment of the “SUSTech Research Series”.

Fengliang LI, University Council Vice Chairperson, said that the “SUSTech Research Series” are strictly organized, practical in its topic selections, and encourage enthusiastic participation. He hopes that the Series will reflect a new way of thinking, contribute to the development of the University in a more constructive way, and to promote academic achievements and the image of the University both nationally and internationally.

There were a total of 17 project reports discussed throughout the conference, including one final report, four interim reports, and twelve opening reports on various projects. Subsequently, a seminar on “New Research-Intensive University” was held to take in the opinions and suggestions of the participants in the “SUSTech Research Series”, while also having in-depth discussions on how to continue improving the development of the University.
