On April 13, Shaoqiang LI, District Mayor of Jiuyuan in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia, and his delegation visited the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech).

Siqi CHEN, Director of the Office of Party Affairs and Administration, along with heads and representatives from relevant departments at SUSTech, welcomed the guests as both parties held discussions about future cooperation.

Siqi CHEN gave a brief introduction about SUSTech, while also discussing topics such as the cultivation of top talents, research and development of new resources, and university-enterprise cooperation.

Shaoqiang LI spoke about the current economic development of Jiuyuan District in Baotou City and its plans for improving the industrial sector. He also praised the rapid growth and development of SUSTech over the past ten years.

The two parties held in-depth discussions on technology research and development, industrial cooperation, and recruitment of top talents.
