SUSTech holds unveiling ceremony for new campus service centers

On July 5, 2021, the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) held the unveiling ceremony of the Administrative Service Center (ASC) as a pilot demonstration center and Trade-Union Service Center. Yurong GUO, University Council Chairperson, Fengliang LI, University Council Vice Chairperson, and Chun LU, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, attended the ceremony.

Yurong GUO gave a speech at the ceremony. She recognized the contributions made by the ASC in serving the needs of faculty members and students of SUSTech and also optimizing and improving the efficiency of the administrative management process. She said that the ASC would meet the high standards and requirements of the University.

After the unveiling ceremony, members of the University leadership visited the newly renovated ASC which has expanded on its original working space. After the upgrade, it has now been divided into two parts.

Zone A includes a self-service area, an information desk, a business processing area, and a back-office area. At the same time, zone B also consists of a self-service area, a business processing area, and a printing area. The ASC has also incorporated a maternity and infant room to create a private, clean and comfortable environment for female faculty and staff.

Qin YE, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary-General of the SUSTech Education Foundation, Siqi CHEN, Director of the Office of Party Affairs and Administration, Ling ZHANG, Director of the Office of Communication and Public Relations (CPR), and heads of related departments also attended the event.
