As the world entered the third year of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022, universities and colleges throughout the country continued to grapple with various challenges bought on by this. Officials from the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) endured to provide support and services to students, faculty members, and staff to ensure they had a safe on-campus experience.
On February 27, the CPC Southern University of Science and Technology Committee mobilized party members from all party organizations at different levels to take the lead in keeping the campus safe and ready for the new semester.
The University's epidemic prevention and control office held a special meeting on epidemic prevention and control, coordinated relevant units to optimize safe management measures, cleaning of classrooms, labs and common areas, regular testing, health conditions declaration, cafeteria arrangement, and all sorts of other supports.
Under the coordination of the epidemic prevention and control office, faculty and student volunteers were busy on the front line, contributing their own strength to safeguarding campus safety and stability and the convenience of all the members on campus.
In December, the epidemic prevention and control entered a new stage, and became the focus of the University at the end of the year. From the overall arrangement, to the allocation of personnel, material support, and then to the precise focus on key groups, all work has been carried out in an orderly manner to ensure the students, faculty members, and staff stay safe and well.
