全体师生,
2020年春节,注定是一个不平凡的节日,一场突如其来的新型肺炎疫情打乱了春天的脚步,全国人民一同加入了疫情阻击战!灾难,从来就是一个民族的试金石,在危机面前,我们总能看到中华民族的团结和力量!
为记录与反思这特殊的历史时刻,引导广大师生学习防疫阻击战中涌现的先进事迹,弘扬主旋律,彰显正能量,加强对全体师生的爱国主义教育,凝聚人心,鼓舞士气,学生工作部(校团委)、人文社会科学学院联合举办“众志成城在南科,以笔战‘疫’护家国”主题征文大赛,现将有关事项通知如下:
一、征文主题
“众志成城在南科,以笔战‘疫’护家国”——围绕自己与身边的抗疫故事展开写作,记录时代和历史,讴歌真善美。
二、参加对象
南方科技大学全体学生、教职员工、校友、家长及所有关心南科大发展的社会人士。
三、征文时间
即日起至3月10日。
四、征文要求
(一)记录这场疫情阻击战中的所见所闻所感,富有正能量和真情实感,体现文采和感染力。可以是宏大的主题,也可以是感人的细节,可以是曲折的故事,也可以是温暖的片段,这些都是我们非常期待聆听的动人故事。可在以下内容范围内着笔讲述(包括但不限于以下主题):
1.风月同天,全球战“疫”进行时:疫情发生以来,身处在地球村中所有人的命运都息息相关,同样是面对疫情,有的国家积极面对,慷慨捐资,有的国家闭关锁国,不同国家应对疫情的做法对你是否有所触动?
2.科技战“疫”:华大基因的检测试剂、大疆的消毒无人机、普渡科技的送餐机器人,各种先进的技术应用到的这次抗疫行动当中,作为特区学子的你,对此有何感想呢?
3.爱的回信:疫情期间,学校向全体在鄂师生写了一封信,勉励大家坚定信念共渡时艰,也欢迎大家给我们来信,说说你的心里话;又或者大家在听完书记校长、院士院长的“云端第一课”后,写下想对他们说的话,由我们帮你传递。
4.身边的战“疫”人:从奔波在救援一线的医务人员,到社区门口测体温的志愿者,大家用不同的方式参与到了这场疫情阻击战中,这当中是否有你所熟悉的身影,是否有一个让你感动的故事与我们分享?
5.“宅家”温情录:这是一个前所未有的悠长寒假,安宅家中,身心放松,也是一次难得的与父母团聚的机会,居家的日子里,是否有一些温馨的时刻,勾起了你的感动?
6.对自己专业的思考:在本次疫情的应对中,社会分工明确,各行各业有序地参与到抗疫救灾中来,在灾难面前,你对自己所学专业是否有一些新的认识?
7.生命的意义:这次疫情中,我们也看到了一些生命的离去,“你永远不知道明天和意外谁先来到”,对于生命,你又有什么新的思考?
(二)自拟标题,字数不限,体裁不限,诗歌、散文、随笔等均可。来稿格式要求:标题华文中宋,小二号字;副标题宋体,三号字;正文宋体,小四号字;可配图。
(三)本次征文分为“学生组”和“教师组”“校友组”“家长组”。来稿文责自负,必须原创,杜绝抄袭。
(四)投稿邮箱:cyl@sustech.edu.cn,作品以附件(电子版word文档)形式发送。投稿文件名为“抗疫征文+××书院/院系/校友/家长+姓名+标题”。稿件末尾须标明作者真实姓名(班级、学号)、联系电话等。本次征文不接受纸质投稿。
(五)本次比赛建立了咨询微信群,由人文社会科学学院老师进行线上指导,欢迎老师同学们扫码进群。
(六)优秀作品作者有机会参与人文社会科学学院线上课程连线,分享创作心得。
五、结果评选
征文结束后,将组织人文社会科学学院老师对作品按“学生组”“教师组”“家长组”“校友组”进行评选点评。优秀作品经编辑后会在《南科大书院》杂志、“南科大团委”微信公众号等渠道发表。
六、奖项设置
“学生组”设一等奖3名,奖电子阅读器1个,防疫用品若干;二等奖7名,奖键鼠套装1套,防疫用品若干;三等奖10名,视频网站1年会员,防疫用品若干;优秀奖若干名,奖防疫用品若干。
“教师组”“家长组”“校友组”各设一等奖2名,奖品奖电子阅读器1个,防疫用品若干;二等奖3名,奖键鼠套装1套,防疫用品若干;三等奖5名,奖视频网站1年会员,防疫用品若干;优秀奖若干名,奖防疫用品若干。
征文结束后,将向所有获奖作者颁发获奖证书及奖品,并将获奖稿件结集出版,不再另付稿酬。

Call for Papers with the Theme of “Unite Our Strength in SUSTech, Fight for the outbreak with Pens “

Dear all,
The Spring Festival of 2020 is an extraordinary vacation, which the COVID-19 has disrupted the pace of spring, and the people of our whole country joined the fight! Disaster is always the touchstone of a nation and we can always see the unity and strength of our nation when facing crisis.
In order to record and reflect on this special moment, department of student affairs (Youth League Committee) and the School of Humanities and Social Sciences jointly hosted the “Unite Our Strength in SUSTech, Fight for the outbreak with Pens ” essay contest which we want to strengthen patriotism education for all teachers and students by showing some touching stories
I. Theme
“Unite Our Strength in SUSTech, Fight for the outbreak with Pens “
Start writing about your own and the stories around you and try to record these stories with love and authenticity.
II.Participants
All students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents of students and people who are concerned about the development of SUSTech.
III. Submission Time
By March 10th.
IV. Requirement
(1) Record what you have seen and heard during this period with full of positive energy and true feelings which embodies your literary talent. It can be a grand theme, touching details, twisty stories, or a warm clip. These stories are what we look forward to listening to. Some examples of topics are as belows (including but not limited to the following topics):
1.Global Affairs: After the outbreak, the fate of everyone in the global village has been closely related. Facing the COVID-19, some countries donated generously, while some countries closed their doors. Talk about your feelings.
2. Science and technology:
Various advanced technologies applied to this ‘war’, for example BGI detection reagents, DJI disinfection drones and Purdue’s food delivery robots.
As a student in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, how do you feel about this?
3. Love: During the period, the school wrote a letter to all teachers and students in Hubei to encourage everyone to believe that we can coping with it. We also welcome everyone to write to us back and talk about what you feel.
We can also write to the president, secretary and deans of our school to talk about the feelings after the ‘First Lesson’.
4. People who stand in the front line: From the medical staff at the rescue frontline to the volunteers taking temperature at the community gates, everyone has participated in this war in different ways. Is there anyone you are familiar with? Is there a story that touches you? You can share the stories with us.
5. Home : This is an unprecedented long winter vacation for us to relax physically and mentally. It is also a rare opportunity to spend time with your parents. Are there some warm moments in your home that evoke your moving?
6. Professions: In the response to the COVID-19, the social division of labor is clear, and all walks of life have participated in the disaster relief work in an orderly manner. In the face of disaster, do you have some new understandings of your major ?
7. The meaning of life: In this period, we also saw the departure of some lives. “You never know what the tomorrow and the accident will come first.” What new thinking do you have about life?
(2) No title and length restrictions. You can write poetry, prose ,essays and what you want. Submission format:Please submit your soft copy with the following requirements.
1. Use 1 inch (2.54cm) margins on the top, bottom, left and right.
2. Use 12 point Times New Roman font.
3. Double space your paragraphs.
4. Indent the first line of every paragraph.
5. Pictures are allowed in the text.
(3) All essays will be divided into one of some groups as below:”student group”, “teacher group”, “alumni group” and “parent group”. You should pay the responsibility to your essays. Essays must be original and without plagiarism behavior.
(4) E-mail for submission: cyl@sustech.edu.cn.
The work will be sent as an attachment (electronic version of word document). The submission file is named “Anti-epidemic Essay + XX Academy / Department / Alumni / Parent + Name + Title”. The end of the manuscript must indicate the author’s real name (class, student number), contact phone number, etc. Paper submissions are not accepted.
(5) The competition has established a consulting WeChat group. Online guidance is provided by teachers from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Teachers and students are welcome to scan the QR-code and enter the group.
(6) Outstanding authors have the opportunity to participate in the online courses of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and share their creative experience.
V. Results
After the call for papers, teachers of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences will be organized to select and comment on the work according to the “student group”, “teacher group”, “parent group” and “alumni group”. The outstanding works will be published in the “Residential College” magazine , “Youth League Committee” WeChat public account and other channels after editing.
VI.Awards

7 second prizes:1 key and mouse set, and several epidemic prevention supplies;
10 third prizes:1 year member of the video website , a number of epidemic prevention supplies;
Some outstanding awards: a number of epidemic prevention supplies.
“Teacher Group”, “Parent Group” and “Alumni Group” have the same amount of awards.
2 first prizes:1 e-reader, and several epidemic prevention supplies;
3 second prizes: 1 key and mouse set, and several epidemic prevention supplies;
5 third prizes: 1 year member of the video website, several epidemic prevention supplies;
Several outstanding awards: a number of epidemic prevention supplies.
After the call for papers, all award-winning authors will be awarded certificates and prizes, and the winning manuscripts will be published together.
