President HUANG Wei from Nanjing University of Technology Visits SUSTC

On December 4th,2015, President HUANG Wei and his delegation from Nanjing University of Technology (hereinafter referred to as: NUT ) visited SUSTC, accompanied by President CHEN Shiyi, Vice President TANG Tao and Chairs from all departments during the visit and meeting.


President CHEN Shiyi presented the souvenir to President HUANG Wei.

          The delegation also visisted the  sand table of the campus development, having a deeper understanding of the university and its development planning.

         During the meeting, Prof. TANG Tao, the Vice President, made an introduction of the university to the delegation and expressed his willing to enhance mutual communication and cooperation in research and other fields as well.

President HUANG Wei  said that SUSTC is a pioneer and innovator in collectively moving China’s higher education forward to match China’s ever-growing role in the international arena, which attracts much attention from all levels of society. He believed that it is a chance for the delegation to know more about the univeristy and learn from it  in many ways.

After the meeting, the delegation also visisted the laboratories of  Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Physics, Chemistry. Chairs from the above departments have given detailed introductions of the laboratories and the research programs.

Prof. ZHANG Xumu, Chair of the chemistry department gave a comprehensive introduction of the research group, department and the future plans.
