The end of May saw Hu Xiaofeng from the China Academy of Aerospace Aerodynamics (CAAA) lead a delegation to Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). SUSTech President Chen Shiyi and other senior leaders met the CAAA delegation.

During the meeting, Secretary Hu Xiaofeng and President Chen Shiyi talked about the development of talent pipelines, scientific research cooperation, construction of joint laboratories and the transformation of scientific & technological achievements. They also aim to conduct multi-faceted talent training, through the creation of student intern bases and doctoral workstations.

The CAAA deputation also visited both the Department of Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering & the Department of Mechanical and Energy Engineering. They took the opportunity to exchange views with heads of department on several professional development and scientific research issues.

Founded in October 1956, CAAA is a unit of Chinese manned spaceflight engineering.
