Earlier this week, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) hosted the 2019 SUSTech Artificial Intelligence (AI) Industry University Research Forum (Forum), sponsored by the Technology Transfer Center (TTC) and the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
The Forum attracted nearly 200 industrial and investment representatives as well as experts and scholars involved in AI. There was significant discussion about developments around the integration of AI with the economy and how to best maximize the benefits of industry-university research cooperation.
TTC Deputy Director Liu Guangyu briefed the audience about SUSTech and the transformation of various AI projects within different departments across campus.
Several reports were given on developments and applications at the cutting edge of AI technology by professors and industry experts. The reports delved into a range of topical issues that will see society change significantly in the future with the integration of AI.
TTC will continue to hold industry-university-research exchanges in various fields of science and technology. Their approach is supported by many businesses, which promotes the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
