On April 11, University of Liverpool President executive vice President Patrick Hackett and Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University Executive President Xi Youming visited SUSTech, having talks with SUSTech President Chen Shiyi, Vice President Wu Chuanyue, and directors of related departments and professors.

President Chen welcomed the delegation and made an introduction about the our university on visions and goals, education and faculty. In the talks, both parties showed great interest in establishing partnership between them, willing to discuss possibility of comprehensive cooperation between the universities. They also had discussions about co-establishing teaching & research organ to promote exchanges and cooperation between scholars, jointly cultivate masters and doctors, and exchange undergraduates.
