Huang Changyong, President of the Shanghai Theater Academy visited SUSTech and met with Li Fengliang, Deputy Chairman of SUSTech on February 28.

Before the meeting, Huang first visited the model table of the second-phase campus planning and watched a short video introducing SUSTech. Li introduced SUSTech’s progress, future plans, introduction of talents, teaching and research.

Li also stressed that SUSTech attaches great importance to talents cultivation and strives to build itself into an international university which focuses both on humanities and science and technology.

Huang acclaimed that SUSTech is an innovative university and that the Shanghai Theater Academy hoped to draw on the valuable experiences in introducing top faculty and administration members, innovative school systems and talents fostering.

The two concluded their meeting with discussions on college administration, talents cultivation, students’ enrollment, financial systems, introduction of high-level talents and education foundation.

The meeting was also attended by heads of departments including the President’s Office, Human Resources Office, Student Affairs Department, Department of Finance, Education Foundation and Art Center.
