On the afternoon of May 5^th 2017, the SUSTech 2017 Discipline Inspection and Supervision Work Conference was held in the first research hall of the teaching building. University Council Chairperson Guo Yurong, SUSTech President Chen Shiyi, Vice-Chairperson of University Council Li Fengliang and various other university leaders attended the meeting. Also present were members of the Party Committee, the Discipline Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Discipline Inspection Committee, the faculties of the departments, the head of the administrative department, the financial secretary and the head of the major scientific research projects. The meeting was chaired by Pan Jinghui, deputy secretary of the school discipline inspection committee and director of the discipline inspection and supervision office.

University Council Chairperson Guo Yurong, SUSTech President Chen Shiyi, Vice-Chairperson of University Council Li Fengliang each took turns to present the annual discipline reports for 2016, guaranteeing that they unswervingly promoted the comprehensive national administrative guidelines. One of the core concepts of SUSTech is to build a world-class university with Chinese characteristics, so it is fundamental to underline the importance of a pragmatic style and firm attitude in its management.
