As on-campus operations resumed at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) this week, leadership figures ensured that every unit on campus was ready for the resumption of their operations.
On March 17, SUSTech Secretary-General Siqi Chen and Human Resources Director Zhifeng Chen led a team for random checks of departments, units, and colleges, while also offering assistance in solving any challenges they may have faced.
They discussed the continued work that SUSTech is doing in protecting the SUSTech community from the ongoing novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic. Staff demonstrated the efforts in making their workspaces, laboratories, and offices safe, with the leaders thanking those staff who had been on campus for a considerable amount of time during the COVID-19 fight.
SUSTech is continuing to operate under strict protocols that require staff to wear masks, maintain proper working distances from each other, and keep all environments clean.
