Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) has its comprehensive evaluation admissions campaign for 2020, welcoming students from 22 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across mainland China to apply for a place at SUSTech for the 2020-21 academic year.
Students must register online through the online admissions portal and take the SUSTech ability test to have the opportunity to undergo the comprehensive evaluation for potential admission to SUSTech.
SUSTech operates a unique “6+3+1” comprehensive evaluation admissions mode. 60% of the score comes from the National College Entrance Examination (gaokao). 30% comes from SUSTech’s ability tests (25% for the academic apparatus test and 5% for the interview). The final 10% comes from the student’s performance in high school, with 7% converted from their high school transcript and 3% deriving from their unique skill set.
Anyone seeking undergraduate admission to SUSTech must register in advance at the undergraduate admissions registration system. They will also need to take part in the ability tests.
SUSTech is committed to the cultivation of top innovative talents who will be the future leaders as the world transitions to Industry 4.0. We welcome high school science graduates who believe in the spirit of “For Truth, Innovation, Reform and Excellence with Diligence and Courage.” You can be part of a higher education journey that allows you to learn and think independently, reaching for every one of your highest aspirations.
