On May 20, the Technology Transfer Center (TTC) and the Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) co-hosted the 2020 Online Advanced Materials Matchmaking Conference (Conference). The Conference was sponsored by SUSTech, Shenzhen Zhengxuan Investment Co., Ltd., and China (Southern) Intellectual Property Center.

Speakers at the online Conference included MSE Head Xin CHENG and other faculty members from MSE and the Department of Chemistry. Shenzhen Zhengxuan Investment Co., Ltd., founding partner Haiquan WANG also attended the meeting. They all discussed industry trends and the path of development in advanced materials. There was also significant discussion of the latest research results and commercial applications in material science.

Many reports were given on a wide range of topics that covered a diverse set of material science issues.

The Conference was deemed an enormous success, attracting many investors from top investment firms, technology firms, tech workers, scholars, and students.
