President Bin YANG and Vice President Zhengguang LIU of China Academy of Science and Technology Development (“CASTD”) headed a delegation to visit the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) in the afternoon of October 15th, 2020. Susheng WANG, a member of the SUSTech Presidential Executive Council, Director of the Planning & Development Office, and Chairman of Asset Management Co.Ltd has received the honorable guests.
Yang Bin and his party have visited the sand table of SUSTech’s construction planning and listened to the university’s overall developmental strategy. They have then paid a visit to SUSTech’ s Cryo-EM center, the Center for the Science and Engineering Research in micro and nanoscale, and the Center for Basic and Applied Research in the picometer scale during which WANG indicated the educational philosophy and achievement. Hongliang CAO, the General Manager of SUSTech’s Asset Company, acquainted with the current industrialization of sci-tech achievements.
Bin YANG spoke highly of what SUSTech has accomplished. He then introduced CASTD’s s values and its business model as a comprehensive institution that focuses on technological commercialization. The two sides hope to strengthen cooperation through sci-tech transformation and share experiences and resources to build a win-win relationship.
