SUSTech holds branch activity for 2021 National Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week Shenzhen Venue

On October 24, a seminar on gene-based technology and medicine innovation research was held by the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) in Dapeng New District. The seminar was part of the branch activities for the 2021 National Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week Shenzhen Venue and the 7th Shenzhen International Maker Week.

Dongfeng GU, Acting Vice President of SUSTech, Ke LIU, Dean of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and more than 100 experts from universities, enterprises, investment institutions, and other fields participated in the event, which was held both online and offline.

Exchanges in the event included keynote speeches, roundtable forums, and sharing meetings. These interactions were hosted by the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at SUSTech.

Participants delivered keynote speeches on the innovative research progress of gene-based technology and medicine at home and abroad and the opportunities and challenges of developing gene-based industries in Shenzhen.

The National Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week Shenzhen Venue has been held six times since 2015. It provides a stage for the city to build an innovation and entrepreneurship platform and accumulate new resources nationally and globally.
