The Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) recently welcomed delegations from provincial education departments and examination authorities of Shandong, Zhejiang, and Jiangxi provinces.

Leading their respective delegations were Zhigang ZHANG, Deputy Director of the Education Department of Shandong Province, Xia LI, President of the Shandong Educational Enrollment Examination Institute, Liang HUANG, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Zhejiang Education Examination Institute, and Feng XU, Dean of the Jiangxi Education Examinations Authority.

Hong JIANG, University Council Chairperson, Qikun XUE, President of SUSTech, Ling ZHANG, University Council Vice-Chairperson, Hongwei FANG, Vice President and Provost, along with other members of the University’s leadership team and heads of related departments, engaged in discussions with the visiting delegations, which included members of their enrollment teams and student representatives.

Chairperson Hong JIANG and President Qikun XUE welcomed the delegations and expressed their gratitude to them for their continuous support in fostering SUSTech’s development and undergraduate enrollment.

They articulated their hopes for further strengthening exchanges and cooperation in the future, and look forward to a continued influx of exceptional students from the three provinces to SUSTech.

Additionally, Vice-Chairperson Ling ZHANG provided the guests with an overview of SUSTech and its accomplishments.

Zhigang ZHANG, Xia LI, Liang HUANG, and Feng XU acknowledged SUSTech’s achievements in recent years, recognizing the University’s growth and sustained increase in student enrollment over the past decade. They reiterated their commitment to support SUSTech’s enrollment work in the years to come.

As part of their trip, the delegations were given a tour of the campus and visited the SUSTech exhibition of development and achievements. Additionally, they held exchanges with student representatives, gaining insights into their experiences of studying at SUSTech.
