On April 9, the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) and Dacheng Fund Management Co., Ltd. (Dacheng Fund) came together for the unveiling ceremony of the Dacheng Auditorium of the SUSTech Business School.

Hong JIANG, Chairperson of the University Council and the Education Foundation of SUSTech, and Xiaogang TAN, General Manager of Dacheng Fund and Vice Chairman of the Guangdong Dacheng Charity Foundation (Dacheng Foundation), attended the event and delivered speeches.

Also present at the ceremony were Li JIN, Vice President and Acting Dean of the SUSTech Business School, Xiaodong HAN, Acting Vice President of SUSTech, Jian XIAO, Deputy General Manager of Dacheng Fund, and Zijie XU, Secretary-General of the Dacheng Foundation.

Hong JIANG expressed her gratitude to the Dacheng Foundation for its generous donation. She emphasized SUSTech’s commitment to educational reform and innovation in science and technology, achieved with the support of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Government and the whole of society. Consequently, it has achieved a series of breakthrough results and made rapid progress toward its goal of building a world-class research university.

The Dacheng Auditorium stands as a testament to Dacheng Foundation’s continued support for educational development at SUSTech. She expressed hope for deeper collaboration between both parties, inspiring more enterprises and social organizations to participate in academic and philanthropic initiatives for a brighter future.

In his remarks, Xiaogang TAN acknowledged SUSTech’s remarkable progress and shared values with Dacheng Fund. He highlighted their joint commitment to nurturing young individuals, expressing a desire for enhanced cooperation to cultivate capable and socially responsible talents.

He envisions that the Dacheng Auditorium will symbolize a space where countless young dreams will take flight.

Subsequently, Li JIN presented a commemorative donation certificate to Xiaogang TAN.

Witnessed by all the guests, Hong JIANG, Xiaogang TAN, Li JIN, Xiaodong HAN, Jian XIAO, and Zijie XU jointly unveiled the Dacheng Auditorium.

The Dacheng Auditorium marked a significant milestone, becoming SUSTech’s first indoor space naming project.
