A delegation from Korea University (KU), led by Yoo Yongkeun, Vice President of the Office of Planning and Budget, visited the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) on December 10 for a meeting with Hao Chen, Executive Deputy Director of SUSTech Global.

This marked the second visit of Korea University to SUSTech, underscoring the ongoing cooperation between the two institutions.

During the meeting, both parties conducted a comprehensive review of their exchange programs and collaborative projects, with discussions focusing on elevating the universities’ reputations and fostering academic excellence.

Executive Deputy Director Hao Chen expressed his commitment to enhancing communication between the institutions, initiating substantive collaborative initiatives, and sharing experiences across a wide range of domains.

Vice President Yoo Yongkeun commended SUSTech’s recent achievements, particularly highlighting the remarkable progress made over the past decade. He praised the high caliber of the faculty and the exceptional research outcomes, emphasizing the potential for mutual learning and drawing inspiration from each other’s strengths in various fields for the benefit of both KU and SUSTech.
