Professor Georgios Theodoropoulos, chair of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SUSTech met with the visitors for talks, as well as representatives of the Office of Human Resources and Global Engagement Office. Professor Theodoropoulos introduced his department to the Thuyloi University delegation, while the Office of Human Resources briefed them on the talent introduction policy of SUSTech. The two sides then held discussions and exchanges on topics including student exchanges and joint training.
Thuyloi University is a public university directly under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam. It was formerly known as the Institute of Water Conservancy and Hydroelectric Power and was established in 1959, renamed Thuyloi University (TLU) in 2013. TLU focuses on personnel training and scientific research in water resources management, hydropower, natural resources and environmental management. At present, it has 25 undergraduate programs, 20 postgraduate programs and 11 doctoral programs.
