Recently, SUSTech hosted the launch ceremony of “SUSTech-DJI Internet Innovation and Practice Project.” It showed the deep levels of cooperation between Shenzhen DJI Technology Co., Ltd. and SUSTech, establishing a platform for employment and practice.

At the meeting, the human resources officials and engineers of Shenzhen DJI Technology Co., Ltd introduced the company and the projects to the students. The leaders of the seven research groups then communicated the aims of each research group with the assembled students.

When the “SUSTech-DJI Internet Innovation and Practice Project” started recruitment, nearly 100 students attended the online project explanation meeting. The seven research groups selected 51 students, who will be coached over the next two months by the engineers of Shenzhen DJI Technology Co., Ltd. The engineers will attend the university and regularly guide the selected students in applying the techniques they have learned through their studies, in a practical setting. On completion of the research projects, DJI will provide internship opportunities for selected students, based on the individual students’ comprehensive performance and contribution to the research group.

The SUSTech-DJI Internet Innovation and Practice Project is a platform for postgraduate’s employment and practice as well as an attempt to expand the graduate employment channel for students. In the future, our university shall continue to deepen the cooperation with the company in fields such as IT, communications, electronics, internet, finance, manufacturing, energy, and environmental protection.
