The afternoon of August 12 saw Deputy Mayor Cui Haixia of Hengshui City lead a delegation to SUSTech to find out more about our university. He was met by Director Chen Zhifeng of SUSTech’s Human Resources Office.

The delegation visited the 3D campus construction model, the lakeside residential colleges, and the sports ground, in order to understand the basic situation of how SUSTech’s campus was put together.

Later, Director Chen welcomed Deputy Mayor Cui and his deputation, on behalf of SUSTech, and introduced both the university and the phases of its construction to them. Senior officials from Hengshui City Government and Hengshui Municipal Education Bureau were joined by the Director Tang Gang of the Campus Planning Office and Director Wang Baoguo of the Experimental Equipment Department.

Deputy Major Cui praised SUSTech for its rapid development and expansion. He said that the concepts and experience they gathered from SUSTech would be invaluable in their work in relocating Hengshui College.
