On October 15, Mr. Ruan Jiancong, Vice President of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, visited Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). SUSTech Vice President Dr. Lu Chun held talks with Ruan Jiancong, and his delegation and had an in-depth exchange of views on campus management

During the talks, Lu Chun welcomed Ruan Jiancong on behalf of SUSTech. He briefly introduced the general situation of the University and the second stage of campus planning. Lu Chun said that he hopes both sides could learn from each other and promote exchanges with the CUHK-Shenzhen.

“We would like to get some campus management experience from SUSTech, especially to borrow the ideas of managing asset and facilities,” said Ruan Jiancong. “It is a rewarding trip.”

During the talks, both sides held in-depth discussions about the management of public facilities, assets, and student dormitories.

The meeting was attended by representatives from the financial, human resource and campus development departments at CUHK-Shenzhen. Also present were directors from SUSTech’s campus planning committee, campus services office and administration and space management office.
