The 2019 New Materials Industry and Technology Conference was held on July 6th by Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), Shenzhen Zhengxuan Investment (Holdings) Company and New Materials Online. The Technology Transfer Center (TTC) and the Department of Materials Science and Engineering were the organizers of the conference. Nearly 200 experts and representatives have attended this great event from companies and investment firms, along with scholars in advanced material field.
Director Zuotai Zhang, the director of the Technology Transfer Center, briefed the audience about the development of SUSTech and Industry-Academic-Research system in SUSTech.
Haiquan Wang, the deputy general manager of Shenzhen Zhengxuan Investment (Holdings) Company, said that SUSTech had an excellent scientific research environment and its achievements were obviously presented to everyone. Working together in new technology will lay a solid foundation for new materials research, which will lead to a new round of scientific and technological development.
8 professors from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering presented their latest achievements in new materials. The conference aims to connect industry and university more closely as well as promote development of new technology. All attendees discussed and shared their own opinions on advanced material industrialization, concentrating on development trends and innovative opportunities in this field.
